The Light Together

I let the medium do much of the talking, strongly inspired by the folksy patterns of children’s illustrator Patricia Polacco. The light coming together was sort of a movement I didn’t understand at first. It now makes sense as a call to community, bringing our lights together to make the world a better place for Jesus. Also, each week of Advent, if lived in still prayer and offering more of ourself to others, just as you add light to the wreath, our soul should get brighter and fuller in readiness for Christmas, God with us.

The way the light shines on this piece is wonderful, beautiful, and a call to be light ourselves.
